The next Rating Battle season is number 16, and you’ll have the opportunity to test your skills against players from around the world! Challenge other Trainers to climb the leaderboards and find out where you rank in the global competition. The Rating Battle leaderboards reset at the beginning of each season, so you’ll start at the same level as everyone else. As you battle, you’ll move up or down the rankings based on your match outcomes.
Rating Battles are available in Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, and Pokémon Moon, but please note that Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon battles will be ranked separately from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon battles. Also, Pokémon and moves introduced in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon may not be used in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Rating Battles.
The next season’s Special format features Single Battles and excludes Pokémon that were among the top 30 in Single Battles during the past seven seasons.
Remember that you’ll need a Pokémon Trainer Club account and your own copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, or Pokémon Moon registered at the Pokémon Global Link to participate.
Visit the Rating Battles page to keep an eye on your record and rankings throughout Rating Battle Season 16. You can also check out which Pokémon are the most popular in each format.
