The Pokémon Company recently revealed that this year’s Pokémon anime movie – officially titled Pokémon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution – will premiere in Japan on July 12, 2019. The upcoming movie is being directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and Motonori Sakakibara, while the screenplay is by Takeshi Shudo. Leading up to the highly-anticipated release, The Pokémon Company has been teaming up with various artists to promote the film. The latest piece of artwork depicts Armored Mewtwo in all its glory.
