To coincide with Fukushima & The Chansey Peach Festival in Japan, The Pokémon Company and Niantic has announced a special event for Pokémon GO. From July 22 to August 4, 2019, players of the immensely-popular mobile game will get photobombed by Chansey if they use the GO Snapshot feature in Fukushima. After spotting Chansey, you’ll have a chance to capture it and add it to your team. A Chansey photobomb will be possible once per day at the festival. This special event also celebrates Chansey’s appointment as the ambassador of the Fukushima prefecture in Japan.
