Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to a new version across all capable iOS and Android devices. Version 0.149.0 is now being rolled out to Android, with an iOS release to follow in the near future. According to patch notes from the development team at Niantic, the latest update implements various bug fixes and improvements for an overall smoother experience. The most notable addition is the inclusion of a new appraisal system, which displays three bars for the three stats of a particular Pokémon – Attack, Defense and HP. You’ll see a rating out of three stars of the Pokémon you select. Your team leader will also pop up on the screen to tell you when and where a Pokémon was caught. In addition, the update also implements visible buttons that allow you to swipe between Pokémon.
Trainers, two feature revamps are coming to Pokémon GO! We are rolling out an updated appraisal system to give you more detailed information on your Pokémon’s stats, and will soon be updating the Charged Attack mechanic in Trainer Battles. Watch for a preview!
