The 2020 Pokémon World Championships location will be announced later today, August 18

During the closing ceremony at the 2019 Pokémon World Championships today, August 18, The Pokémon Company will officially announce the location of the 2020 Pokémon World Championships. Next year’s massive competitive event is set to take place during August 2020 at a soon-to-be announced location in the U.S. This follows Nashville in 2018 and Washington, D.C., for 2019. Meanwhile, next year’s Pikachu mascot will be revealed at a later date!

Any guesses as to what outfit Pikachu will wear next year? 😉
