Video: Korean highlights from day 2 of the 2019 Pokémon World Championships

The 2019 Pokémon World Championships, the premier competitive Pokémon event of the year, is now underway. Fans around the world can tune in to all the action with four live broadcasts from The Pokémon Company International on Twitch. The live streams from Washington, DC, feature intense matchups and expert commentary from all three days of the event.

The 2019 Pokémon World Championships are an international event where the world’s most elite Pokémon video game and Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) players will come together to compete to be the very best. Competitors from over 45 countries across three age divisions will do battle for the title of Pokémon World Champion and more than $500,000 in scholarships and prizes. The weekend’s four streams are:

Streaming Schedule: All times EDT

Saturday, August 17:

Main Stage Stream:

  • 8:45 a.m. – 9 p.m.:
    • 9 a.m.: VG & TCG Swiss Rounds
    • 3 p.m.: Pokkén Tournament DX Senior and Masters Division Finals
    • 6 p.m.: VG Top Cut

Pokémon VG Stream:

  • 8:45 a.m. – 7 p.m.: Swiss Rounds and Top Cut

Pokémon TCG Stream:

  • 11:15 a.m. – 10 p.m.: Swiss Rounds and Top Cut

Pokkén Tournament DX Stream:

  • 8:45 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Championship Bracket (moves to Main Stage Stream at 3 p.m.)

Sunday, August 18:

Main Stage Stream:

  • Starting at 9 a.m., the following matches will be played in order, with an estimated finish of 4 p.m.:
    • TCG Junior Finals
    • TCG Senior Finals
    • TCG Masters Finals
    • VG Junior Finals
    • VG Senior Finals
    • VG Masters Finals
  • 4 p.m.: Closing Ceremony
