Niantic recently announced a few changes to Research Breakthrough rewards for the coming weeks in Pokémon GO. Read on below for all the details:
Research Breakthrough Updates
- From September 1, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT (GMT −7) to November 1, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Eevee wearing flower crowns will be available as Research Breakthrough encounters.
- If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Eevee with a flower crown!
- Spinda form #3 can be encountered after successfully completing a designated Field Research task.
- Shiny Electrike and Shiny Manectric have made their Pokémon GO debuts.
- Electrike or Shiny Electrike is triggered as an encounter reward for the Field Research task “Battle another Trainer,” which requires you to complete two battles.
Eevee wearing flower crowns is the exclusive Pokémon appearing in Research Breakthroughs during this time. Don’t miss your chance to evolve them into all the available Eevee Evolutions in Pokémon GO!
