Nintendo has dispatched a brand-new system update for Nintendo Switch, which is now available for download worldwide. Official patch notes for update version 9.0.1 from the development team are as follows:

Nintendo constantly aims to improve the functionality of its systems and services in order to provide the easiest, most user-friendly experience possible. As a part of these efforts, we are making Nintendo Switch system updates available for download via the Internet.

Performing the System Update:
In most situations, the Nintendo Switch will automatically download the most recent system update while it is connected online. You can verify your current menu version and manually start the update from the System Settings menu if necessary.
Important:
If you are unable to perform the system update, restart your console and try again.

General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience, including a solution for the following:
- Resolved an issue that may have triggered errors during game play.
- Resolved an issue that may display an instruction to remove the Joy-Con during the initial setup of Nintendo Switch Lite.
