Pikachu and Eevee distributions announced for Pokémon Sword and Shield via Pokémon Centers in Japan

The Pokémon Company and Nintendo are continuing to reveal brand-new information surrounding the highly anticipated upcoming video games Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, launching on November 15, 2019, exclusively on Nintendo Switch systems. The Pokémon Company has announced Pikachu and Eevee distributions for Pokémon Sword and Shield in Japan, where players can visit actual Pokémon Center locations during their birth month to receive a serial code to unlock the Pokémon in their game. Read on below for all the details:

Let’s go to Pokemon Center for your birthday!
From Friday, November 15th, “Pokemon Center Wakuwaku Happy Birthday” will be renewed. Please come to Pokemon Center for your birthday!

■ Present 1 Get “Pikachu” or “Eevee” in “Pocket Monster Sword Shield”!
Take the Nintendo Switch (Nintendo Switch Lite) and “Pocket Monster Sword Shield” software to the Pokemon Center!
I’ll give you a serial code that you can receive either “Pikachu” or “Eevee” in your “Pocket Monster Sword Shield”.
* Nintendo Switch software “Pocket Monster Sword Shield” will give you a serial code to receive “Pikachu” or “Eevee”.
* Software other than “Pocket Monster Sword Shield” cannot be received.
* One Pokémon gift will be given for each birthday (if you have more than one software, you will receive one).
* One save data of one software will be given only once and cannot be received more than once. Please note.
