The Ground-type Pokémon Trapinch was the star of October‘s Pokémon GO Community Day. This month’s Community Day event happened on Saturday, October 12, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time. Trapinch was appearing much more frequently in the wild during this time, and if you’re lucky, you might even find a Shiny Trapinch! Shiny Trapinch, Shiny Vibrava and Shiny Flygon also made their Pokémon GO debuts. If you evolved Vibrava (the Evolution of Trapinch) into Flygon during the event or up to two hours afterward, the Flygon learned Earth Power, a move it can’t normally learn. You could have even received 2 km Eggs that hatched into Trapinch if you spun PokéStops during Community Day hours. Plus, Lure Modules lasted for three hours, and you earned three times the Catch XP for catching Pokémon during the event. Meanwhile, Trapinch Community Day was postponed in Japan due to super typhoon Hagibis. The rescheduled Community Day took place in Japan on October 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time:
