The Pokémon Company and Nintendo are gearing up for the highly anticipated upcoming video games Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, launching on November 15, 2019, exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The games are now available to pre-load via the Nintendo eShop in Japan, Korea and Europe, with more regions to follow soon. The eShop listings confirm that the games do not support the save data backup feature, but hopefully it’ll eventually be added. If you pre-purchase either digital version of the game in Europe, you can receive 12 Quick Balls as a bonus or a free SteelBook.
