The wait is officially over for Pokémon Sword and Shield! The latest duo of Pokémon games are now available for purchase around the world for Nintendo Switch. Pokémon Sword and Shield allow you to choose from three new partner Pokémon and encounter never-before-seen Pokémon. Explore the Wild Area, a vast expanse of land where the player can freely control the camera. You can also team up with other players locally or online in the new multiplayer co-op Max Raid Battles. Due to the influx of people talking about the new games, the hashtag #PokemonSwordShield has been trending on Twitter. But that’s not all – #PokemonSwordSheild (with a typo) is also now trending due to a number of people using the hashtag:
