Niantic Wayfarer, PokéStop and Gym nominations were recently made available to all level 40 Pokémon GO Trainers worldwide. However, due to “overwhelming response,” Niantic has officially disabled PokéStop and Gym contributions. Read on below for the developer’s statement:
We’ve just launched PokéStop and Gym contributions! Eligible #PokemonGO Trainers can now suggest improvements to PokéStop and Gym information, such as titles, descriptions, and photos, all of which are submitted for approval through Niantic Wayfarer. Trainers, due to overwhelming response, we are disabling PokéStop and Gym contributions to avoid stability issues. We’ll provide an update when it’s available again, thanks for your understanding.
