It’s no secret that Pokémon is one of the most popular entertainment franchises in the world, and it just keeps getting bigger! The likeness of Pokémon is continuing to be featured in a wide array of pop culture platforms, including on TV, in video games and even in some of the latest movies. In the 2018 movie Searching, for example, Pokémon is an integral part of the overall theme. Without giving anything away in terms of the plot, you can spot a Pokémon shirt, a Pikachu desktop background, a Poké Ball keychain, mentions of Uxie, Kecleon and more Pokémon references. The movie is a great watch in general so we’d definitely recommend it!
