Nintendo has announced plans to permanently end the Nintendo Zone service in Japan. The Nintendo 3DS app will no longer be usable as of February 28, 2020. A number of Pokémon distributions were made available via Nintendo Zone, but most focus has already shifted to Nintendo Switch. All Nintendo 3DS Station locations will also shut down on the same day.
Important information: The Nintendo Zone and Nintendo 3DS Station services will be discontinued in Japan on February 28, 2020. Thank you for using the Nintendo Zone service.
