You can now power up your Pokémon with multiple Candies and Stardust at once after updating Pokémon GO to version 1.139.0 or 0.173.0 on iOS or Android

Pokémon GO has been updated to a new version across all capable iOS and Android devices. The latest update is being rolled out to iOS and Android devices, respectively. According to patch notes from the development team at Niantic, the latest update implements various bug fixes and improvements for an overall smoother experience.

What’s New in Version 1.139.0 (iOS)

As we continue prioritizing Pokémon GO experiences that can be enjoyed in individual settings, Trainers will soon enjoy the following.

– Access to nearby Raid Battles with Remote Raid Passes.

– A bonus daily Field Research task, received without spinning a PokéStop.

– The ability to power up Pokémon to the desired CP by using all the required Candies and Stardust at once.

– The ability to extend the duration of Star Pieces, Lucky Eggs, and Incense by using several of the items at once

What’s New in Version 0.173.0 (Android)

As we continue prioritizing Pokémon GO experiences that can be enjoyed in individual settings, Trainers will soon enjoy the following.

– Access to nearby Raid Battles with Remote Raid Passes.
– A bonus daily Field Research task, received without spinning a PokéStop.
– The ability to power up Pokémon to the desired CP by using all the required Candies and Stardust at once.
– The ability to extend the duration of Star Pieces, Lucky Eggs, and Incense by using several of the items at once

Here are some additional notes:

  • You can now transfer multiple Pokémon wearing costumes from the Pokémon Storage screen. Please note that Pokémon that currently are or have been your Buddy cannot be transferred this way.
  • You can now power up your Pokémon with multiple Candies and Stardust at once.
