In consideration of the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, the safety and security of all people involved in Pokemon were considered as a top priority, and as a result, June 27 (Sat) and 28 We decided to cancel “Pokemon Japan Championships 2020” (hereinafter, PJCS2020) scheduled to be held in Pacifico Yokohama on Sunday.

Thank you for your continued patronage to Pokemon games and card games. At the same time, we deeply apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the event. The health and safety of the participating players, staff, and the local community are top priorities, and we appreciate your understanding.

Due to the discontinuation of PJCS2020, the granting of participation rights to the PJCS 2020 game category to the top 2020 International Challenge winners scheduled or held in April and May will be canceled.

Regarding the carry-over of the participation rights of the PJCS 2020 game category given to the top 2020 International Challenge February winners, it has not been decided including the holding of PJCS 2021. So, thank you for your understanding.
