The Pokémon Company has revealed more news about The Isle of Armor for the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass. Read on below to learn more:
The Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass and the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass, new downloadable content for the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield video games, will contain The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra expansions, two separate adventures that will enable fans to meet new characters, catch newly discovered Pokémon, and explore new areas in the Galar region. The Isle of Armor is scheduled to be released on June 17, and The Crown Tundra in the fall of 2020. New Pokémon include Galarian Slowbro, Regidraco (Regidrago in English), Regieleci (Regieleki in English), Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, Galarian Moltres, Gigantamax Venusaur, Gigantamax Blastoise, Gigantamax Urshifu, Gigantamax Rillaboom, Gigantamax Cinderace and Gigantamax Inteleon.
In addition, Grookey, Sobble and Scorbunny with their Hidden Abilities are now available via Pokémon HOME if you deposit a Pokémon from Pokémon Sword and Shield. There’s a new consumable item in The Isle of Armor called Dynamax Soup, which allows Pokémon that have the ability to Dynamax to become Gigantamax Pokémon. Meanwhile, The Crown Tundra introduces the Galar Star Tournament in Wyndon, which allows players to participate in Multi Battles against a number of characters from the main story.
