Nintendo confirms 300,000 user accounts have been compromised

In response to recent incidents related to some Nintendo Accounts, Nintendo officially discontinued Nintendo Account sign-ins using a Nintendo Network ID. However, the gaming giant has since confirmed that a total of 300,000 user accounts have been compromised. According to an update on the Nintendo Japan support page, the passwords of these accounts have been reset and the account owners have been contacted directly.
