New Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield set announced with new Amazing Rares mechanic featuring Legendaries, Mythical Pokémon and Zarude

The Pokémon Company has revealed the next installment of the Pokémon Trading Card Game as part of the latest Sword & Shield line. It will first be released in Japan on July 10, 2020, with a primary focus on a wide variety of Legendary Pokémon and Mythical Pokémon, including Zacian, Zamazenta, Genesect, Celebi, Lugia and Zarude. This new set also introduces a new mechanic known as Amazing Rares, which make a big impact at the cost of a significant amount of Energy.
