Pokémon GO June Community Day Features Weedle and Drill Run
Look for more Weedle and take advantage of awesome bonuses during the event.
The June Pokémon GO Community Day will feature the Hairy Bug Pokémon, Weedle! This Pokémon will be showing up more on Saturday, June 20, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone. Not only will Weedle appear in the wild more frequently, but there’s also a greater chance that those you encounter will be Shiny. And if you evolve Kakuna (the evolved form of Weedle) into Beedrill during the event—or up to two hours afterward—that Beedrill will know Drill Run, an attack that it normally can’t learn.
If you have a Buddy Pokémon that is at Great Buddy level or higher, it’ll bring you helpful items throughout the event, such as Poké Balls. Additional bonuses will be in effect, too, such as Incense activated during the event lasting three hours. And be sure to keep an eye out for Weedle making cameo appearances in other wild Pokémon battles!
