New Pokémon GO update version 1.145.2 and 0.179.2 now live on iOS and Android

Pokémon GO is being updated to a new version across all capable iOS and Android devices. The latest update is being rolled out to iOS and Android devices, respectively. According to patch notes from the development team at Niantic, the latest update implements various bug fixes and improvements for an overall smoother experience.

What’s New in Version 1.145.2 (iOS)

NEW! Special fourth-anniversary boxes will be available in the in-app shop. Check out the Special Box, Ultra Box, and Adventure Box to see what items you can get.

You’ll soon be able to enjoy the following changes!

– Gift stickers: Add a special sticker to the Gifts you send to make your friends’ day.
– Invite friends to a raid regardless of where they are: Up to five friends can join you.
– Niantic Social: Use this new feature to see which of your friends are online.
– Bug fixes

Trainers will soon be able to invite friends to a raid regardless of where they are.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue that caused some Trainers on Android 5 or 6 to be unable to start the app.
Pokémon appearing from Incense now appear slightly farther from the Trainer avatar, making the Pokémon easier to tap.
Fixed an issue with the “Galar” Pokémon storage search string in which Galarian species were not shown.
Fixed an issue that caused some regional time formats to not appear correctly.
Fixed a rounding issue in how egg incubation distance is displayed.
Fixed an issue that caused PokéCoins earned from daily activities on the Today View to not immediately update on the Shop PokéCoin counter.
Minor asset, effect, and text fixes.

Trainers, our newest update (0.179) is in the early stages of rolling out, and with it, you'll be able to see a toggle for Remote Invitations in the Settings menu.
