Slowpoke now starring in classic Pokémon the Series episodes on Pokémon TV to celebrate Slowpoke Day

Slowpoke Stars in Classic Pokémon the Series Episodes on Pokémon TV

Relive some of Ash and his friends’ most entertaining encounters with this famously slow-witted Pokémon.

There’s just something endlessly charming about Slowpoke, isn’t there? Its large vacant eyes, its unending grin, its relaxed attitude—everything about Slowpoke seems to say, “Yeah, I’m pretty cool.” You can now celebrate the wonder that is Slowpoke on Pokémon TV with a collection of Pokémon the Series episodes featuring this Water- and Psychic-type Pokémon.

You’ll get to see Slowpoke compete in a Pokémon Exhibition, take part in a Pokémon Beauty Contest (we’d give it first place, for sure), and even battle in the Alola Pokémon League. Some of Slowpoke’s most memorable episodes focus on its untraditional evolution methods, as well as a pair of adventures where we learn that some communities feel that the Dopey Pokémon is to be revered (and we agree). Slowpoke also shows up in a number of smaller roles, too.

See Slowpoke in action (and inaction) by tuning in to Pokémon TV for the next two weeks. Remember that you can watch Pokémon TV here on watch.pokemon.com or using the Pokémon TV mobile app. And if you can’t get enough of the cheerful pink Pokémon, check out our look back at Slowpoke’s history through the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Did you know? Slowpoke uses its tail to catch prey by dipping it in water at the side of a river. However, this Pokémon often forgets what it’s doing and often spends entire days just loafing at water’s edge.
