DeNA is continuing to add more events and new features to Pokémon Masters EX on a regular basis. Read on below to learn more:

Professor Sycamore & Xerneas and Lysandre & Yveltal Arrive in Pokémon Masters EX

Prepare for the game’s 1.5-year anniversary with a new legendary event, a new sync pair scout, and log-in bonuses.

The end of February marks the 1.5-year anniversary of Pokémon Masters EX, but why wait until then to celebrate? Before the big day arrives, there are some cool events leading up to the festivities. From February 10, 2021, to March 3, 2021, the Flying-type sync pair Lysandre & Yveltal will be available in the sync pair scout, and a new legendary event will also be held featuring the Fairy-type sync pair Professor Sycamore & Xerneas.

As the 1.5-year anniversary mark approaches, there will also be a special 14-day log-in bonus from February 10, 2021, to February 27, 2021, that can earn you some useful items. Finally, the Pokémon Center will be decked out for the occasion with a festive anniversary theme and background music from February 10, 2021, to March 17, 2021, so be sure to check it out.

You can complete the event to team up with Professor Sycamore & Xerneas!

Legendary Event: Give and Take under way!

You can team up with Professor Sycamore & Xerneas in this event.

With the Prize Box and Event Missions, you will be able to raise the potential and move level of Professor Sycamore & Xerneas to the highest level.

Event Details

You can collect Legendary Prize Coins E by completing battles, then use them to pull from the Prize Box!

When you pull a grand prize from the Prize Box, you can move on to the next Prize Box pool.

You can progress through the event areas and make pulls from the Prize Box to obtain area info that will allow you to team up with Professor Sycamore & Xerneas as well as earn Custom ★ Power-Ups for them!

In Full-Force Battles, you can obtain event medals by meeting set conditions, such as completing battles. Professor Sycamore & Xerneas are sure to come in handy for these battles.

You can try to obtain all of the event medals!

Event Missions

You can take on special missions during the event period.

If you meet certain conditions in event missions, you can earn event medals and acquire Professor Sycamore & Xerneas more times to level up their moves.

Note: When you acquire Professor Sycamore & Xerneas via event missions for the second, third, fourth, or fifth time, their move level will increase accordingly even if the corresponding animation and details are not displayed.

  • To participate, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those you can actually obtain.
  • Items remaining in the prize box will no longer be obtainable after proceeding to the next prize pool.
  • When the prize box closes, leftover Legendary Prize Coins E will be converted into coins (10 coins per Legendary Prize Coin E) and sent to your Present Box.
  • Legendary Event Give and Take may come back again in the future. Your progress in the current event will not be carried over when the event is held next.

  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
