Posted on December 16, 2021 by Blogger

Pokémon Legends: Arceus will soon be released for Nintendo Switch. Read on below to learn more:

Pokémon update! Here’s the latest on Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, and Pokémon Shining Pearl.

The Pokémon series will soon reach a new frontier when the Pokémon™ Legends: Arceus game comes out on January 28, 2022! This brand-new game from Game Freak blends action and exploration with the RPG roots of the Pokémon series.

There’s a lot to discover in the ancient Hisui region, so please watch the video for all the latest details. You’ll learn about the Diamond Clan and the Pearl Clan, the Ginkgo Guild merchants, and how players are able to 1) add the Mythical Pokémon Darkai to their team and 2) claim the Modern Team Galactic Set outfit with save data from the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl games.

For more information about Pokémon Legends: Arceus, please visit Pokemon.com/LegendsArceus.

That’s not all the Pokémon news, though!

As you may already know, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl released last month, and we hope that players have been enjoying their stay in the Sinnoh region. Please watch the video if you’re curious about what kind of Legendary Pokémon you can encounter after entering the Hall of Fame. The video also gives details about the challenging Battle Tower and Gym Leaders you’ll meet in the game.

Update for online communication features

And as a quick reminder for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl players, a software update (v. 1.1.0) became available on November 11, 2021. With this software update (v 1.1.0), players are able to enjoy communication features in the Grand Underground and Super Contest Shows, receive special items via Mystery Gift, and visit Ramanas Park after entering the Hall of Fame.

Currently, a maximum of two players—yourself included—are able to battle and trade Pokémon in the Union Room. A software update will be released in the future that will allow for additional players to join you. Please see this page for more details on the software update: https://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/detail/2021/pokemon-brilliant-diamond-and-pokemon-shining-pearl-feature-update/

Good luck out there, trainers!

INTRODUCING THE DIAMOND AND PEARL CLANS OF THE POKÉMON LEGENDS: ARCEUS GAME

A New Trailer for the Highly Anticipated Game Launches Today

BELLEVUE, WA—December 15, 2021—The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo have revealed more details for the highly anticipated Pokémon Legends: Arceus game, including an all-new trailer. Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be released on Friday, January 28, 2022, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. It is currently available for preorder.[1]

The Hisui Region’s Two Clans: The Diamond Clan and the Pearl Clan
In addition to being home to the Galaxy Expedition Team, two other groups reside in the Hisui region: the Diamond Clan and the Pearl Clan.

The people of the Diamond Clan often speak of the importance of cherishing the present and living in the moment with one’s allies. On the other hand, members of the Pearl Clan frequently advocate the importance of valuing the vast, spacious land shared with others.

Although the Diamond Clan and Pearl Clan disagree on many of their beliefs, they seem to nevertheless share many similarities. Both clans don clothing designed to resemble certain Pokémon, and both pay respects to special Pokémon they call lords and ladies—or collectively, noble Pokémon. Moreover, both clans have wardens who serve these special Pokémon.

The Young Leaders in Charge of the Diamond and Pearl Clans

Adaman
Adaman serves as the leader of the Diamond Clan and has Leafeon as his partner Pokémon. This daring young man hates to see time go to waste and likes to rush forward without worrying too much about particulars.

Irida
Irida serves as the leader of the Pearl Clan, and her partner Pokémon is Glaceon.
As a leader, she feels it is important to have the courage to face the vast Hisui region. Though she is suspicious when first meeting people, she will slowly come to trust the player thanks to the help they provide in quelling the noble Pokémon.

Introducing the Ginkgo Guild Merchants
A group of merchants known as the Ginkgo Guild also operates in the Hisui region. Not native to Hisui, members of the Ginkgo Guild travel around the various locations of the region, selling the wares they have gathered.

Add the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai to Your Team in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Players with play records from the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl games will be able to take on a research request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that will lead to an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai. They will also be able to claim the Modern Team Galactic Set.[2]

Darkrai
It’s said this Pokémon is active during nights of the new moon and that it can lull people to sleep and make them have nightmares.

Category: Pitch-Black Pokémon
Type: Dark
Height: 4′ 11” (1.5m)
Weight: 111.3 lbs. (50.5 kg)

[1] Early purchasers of Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be gifted the Hisuian Growlithe Kimono Set and the Baneful Fox Mask. Players can receive these items by choosing Get via Internet from the Mystery Gifts feature in their game. These gifts can be claimed until Monday, May 9, 2022, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. Players will need to connect their Nintendo Switch system to the internet to claim Mystery Gifts. To connect to the internet, the selected user profile must be linked to a Nintendo Account. (This does not require a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.) It takes approximately two hours of play time before the Mystery Gifts feature is unlocked.
[2] The Modern Team Galactic Set includes the Modern Jacket, Modern Trousers, and Modern Shoes. Players will be able to claim these bonuses in Pokémon Legends: Arceus if they launch the game as a user with play records from Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl. The request that allows players to encounter Darkrai will be available to accept in Jubilife Village after viewing the game’s end credits. Players can claim the Modern Team Galactic Set outfit by speaking to the clothier after joining the Galaxy Expedition Team. It takes approximately one hour of play time to reach the point where this option is available.
