You can earn a new Tetris 99 theme inspired by Pokémon Legends: Arceus by participating in the 28th MAXIMUS CUP online event from January 20 at 11 p.m. PT to January 24 at 10:59 p.m. PT

Pokémon Legends: Arceus will soon be released for Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, a special Pokémon Legends: Arceus event will take place in Tetris 99 from January 20 to January 24. Read on below to learn more:

Play the 28th MAXIMUS CUP online event and you could earn an in-game collaborative theme

By participating in the 28th MAXIMUS CUP online event in the Tetris® 99 game, players can earn an in-game theme inspired by the Pokémon™ Legends: Arceus game. During the event, collect 100 event points by playing matches in Tetris 99 mode to unlock the in-game theme.

The event begins Jan. 20 at 11:00 p.m. PT and lasts until Jan. 24 at 10:59 p.m. PT

The Tetris® 99 28th MAXIMUS CUP event runs from 11 p.m. PT on January 20 to 10:59 p.m. PT on January 24. To participate, you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member* and play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period. You’ll earn event points based on your placement in each match. Once you’ve accumulated a total of 100 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by the Pokémon Legends: Arceus game!
