Mega Latios and Mega Latias soar to new heights in the global Pokémon Air Adventures event
Yesterday we announced some changes to how Mega Evolution works in Pokémon GO, and today we’re excited to announce that two Mega-Evolved Legendary Pokémon will soon make their Pokémon GO debuts!
Pokémon Air Adventures
Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 8, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time
Mega Latias and Mega Latios make their Pokémon GO debuts in Mega Raids!
- Trainer Battles: 120 power and a chance to lower the opposing Pokémon’s Attack
- Gyms and raids: 105 power
- Trainer Battles: 120 power and a chance to lower the opposing Pokémon’s Defense
- Gyms and raids: 100 power
You can encounter the following Pokémon in the wild.
Timed Research focused on catching Pikachu and Flying-type Pokémon will be available throughout the event!
Complete the research to earn 50 Latias Mega Energy, 50 Latios Mega Energy, 3,000 XP, and an encounter with Flying Pikachu.
The following Pokémon will be appearing in raids.
The following Pokémon will hatch from 7 km Eggs.
Field Research task encounters
You can encounter the following Pokémon when you complete Field Research tasks!
You’ll be able to get event-themed stickers from the in-game shop. Ticket holders of Pokémon Air Adventures live event from May 7th to May 8th will be able to get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops and opening Gifts.
