Niantic reveals full patch notes for Pokémon GO update version 0.253.0 and 0.253 on iOS and Android

Pokémon GO is being updated to a new version across all capable iOS and Android devices. The latest update is being rolled out to iOS and Android devices, respectively. According to patch notes from the development team at Niantic, the latest update implements various bug fixes and improvements for an overall smoother experience.

Features

– Trainers can now delete multiple postcards at once by slow tapping on one and then selecting multiple postcards to delete.

QOL Changes

– Updated Sticker selection to be more easily searchable.
– Trainers can now mark a news article as read by tapping the background.

Bug Fixes

– Fixed bug causing the world map to momentarily turn purple.
– Fixed bug causing some item images to not appear in the Shop.
– Fixed bug causing some Japanese text to be too small.
– Fixed bug causing berry drawer to disappear in some GO Battle League reward Ultra Beast encounters.
– Fixed bug causing “walk to unlock your next GO Battle League matches” to appear incorrectly.
– Fixed bug causing some Chinese language users to be directed to English support instead of Chinese.
– Fixed bug sometimes causing an image of a honey pot to appear instead of an item on the catch encounter screen.
