Embrace the past with Adaman & Leafeon in Pokémon Masters EX

Adaman debuts on Pasio alongside his trusty partner Leafeon from the good ol’ days of Hisui.

Look into the past before stepping into the future with Adaman & Leafeon! The leader of the Diamond Clan from the Hisui region has mysteriously arrived on Pasio amidst the threat of space-time distortions—dangerous zones where wild Pokémon sporadically appear from different eras of time. Are these distortions the result of almighty Dialga—or more importantly, can they be stopped? In the island’s time of need, Pasio’s Trainers may have to enlist the help of an unlikely ally.

With their powerful passive skill Time Flows over Hisui, Adaman & Leafeon are a Grass-type tech sync pair that makes the weather sunny the first time they enter battle. With their buddy move, B Razor Leaf, they can also lower their target’s Grass Type Rebuff by one rank, as well as their Defense by one stat rank when the weather is sunny. Given all their experience with ancient Pokémon battles, Adaman & Leafeon are as clutch as it comes with Clutch Critical, which almost guarantees all their moves will result in critical hits! Adaman & Leafeon are available to scout until July 9, 2023, at 10:59 p.m. PDT.

Recommended Sync Pairs to Partner with Adaman & Leafeon

Lyra & Meganium

Lyra & Meganium are a Grass-type support sync pair that love their time in the sun, and there’s no better sunny weather than that provided by Adaman & Leafeon’s Time Flows over Hisui. Lyra & Meganium can use Sunny Side Up! to raise the Attack, Sp. Atk, and Speed of all allied sync pairs by one stat rank, but when the weather is sunny, these stat raises are doubled—making the third sync pair on their team even stronger. Adaman & Leafeon are also unable to raise their own Sp. Def, so Lyra & Meganium’s Light Screen provides some much-needed Special Damage Reduction when dealing with opponents that do special damage. Lyra & Meganium are available to scout from the general pool of 5 ★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and 5★-Guaranteed Johto Ticket Scout.

Sygna Suit Erika & Leafeon

“Leaf” things to the Verdant Pokémon! Like Lyra & Meganium, Sygna Suit Erika & Leafeon’s moves benefit from the sunny weather bonuses provided by Adaman & Leafeon’s Time Flows over Hisui. Their most powerful move, Solar Blade, can be used in a single turn when used in sunny weather, and it does more damage against targets that have had their Grass Type Rebuff lowered by Adaman & Leafeon’s B Razor Leaf. Cut down even the most fearsome opponents with this sharp combination of powerful Leafeon Trainers. Sygna Suit Erika & Leafeon are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and 5★-Guaranteed Kanto Ticket Scout.
