The Pokémon Company has announced a new series to promote the Pokémon World Championships. Read on below to learn more:

2023 Pokémon World Championships Fantasy Team

Pick Your Pokémon and root for them throughout the big competition.

Take part in 2023 Pokémon World Championships Fantasy Team to earn bragging rights and great prizes! Choose your party of six Pokémon and earn points based on how well they perform in the Pokémon World Championships. There are separate competitions for Pokémon TCG and Pokémon VGC teams, which gives you twice as many Pokémon to root for throughout the weekend. Catch all three days of exciting action from Yokohama at Twitch.tv/Pokemon!

The World Championships 2023 Fantasy Team is open to U.S. residents currently residing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years old or the age of majority, whichever is older as of the date of entry. It’s free to enter; all you need is a Pokémon Trainer Club account to join the fun.

First registrants:

The first 10,000 registrants to create a team in either category will receive a code for a Stretchy Form Tatsugiri that can be redeemed in their Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet video game.
