Pokémon First Found in Paldea Debut in Pokémon GO
Enjoy event bonuses, Timed Research, Special Research, and more as you adventure with Pokémon first discovered in the Paldea region!
After a successful Pokémon GO Fest 2023, Trainers now have an opportunity to add some entries to their Paldean Pokédex with the Pokémon GO event A Paldean Adventure. From September 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to September 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time, Pokémon originally discovered in the Paldea region will be making their Pokémon GO debuts. For the first time, you can add Sprigatito, Floragato, Meowscarada, Fuecoco, Crocalor, Skeledirge, Quaxly, Quaxwell, Quaquaval, Lechonk, and Oinkologne to your Pokédex. And if you just can’t get enough of the Hog Pokémon, Lechonk, complete a Collection Challenge to earn Stardust and additional encounters with Lechonk!
Thanks to Trainers’ hard work during Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global, Ultra Unlock bonuses have been activated for this event! Enjoy quadruple XP and quadruple Stardust for catching Pokémon, and PokéStops may turn gold without the use of a Golden Lure Module. Roaming Form Gimmighoul won’t appear at those PokéStops, but Trainers can spin the Discs for the opportunity to get Gimmighoul Coins!

Develop a better understanding of Pokémon first found in Paldea with numerous research opportunities! You can earn encounters with Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Lechonk by completing event-themed Field Research tasks. To earn even more encounters with Lechonk, check out the Timed Research tasks. The Special Research for the new Season, Adventures Abound, provides an exciting opportunity to choose one of Paldea’s first partner Pokémon to adventure with you—Trainers can claim this Special Research at no cost between September 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. and December 1, 2023, at 9:59 a.m. local time.

Time to celebrate—the following Pokémon first discovered in the Paldea region will make their Pokémon GO debuts!
- You can use 25 Sprigatito Candy to evolve Sprigatito into Floragato, and 100 Sprigatito Candy to evolve Floragato into Meowscarada.
- You can use 25 Fuecoco Candy to evolve Fuecoco into Crocalor, and 100 Fuecoco Candy to evolve Crocalor into Skeledirge.
- You can use 25 Quaxly Candy to evolve Quaxly into Quaxwell, and 100 Quaxly Candy to evolve Quaxwell into Quaquaval.
- You can use 50 Lechonk Candy to evolve Lechonk into Oinkologne.
After the event ends, Trainers can look forward to the following.
*Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly may hatch from 5 km Eggs.
*Lechonk may hatch from 2 km Eggs.
