Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Ranked Battles Season 11 (October 2023)

Anew Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Ranked Battles season has begun! This is a great time to dive into the action to test your Trainer skills in head-to-head battles with players around the world, move up the global leaderboards, and earn helpful in-game rewards.
Running until October 31, 2023, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, Ranked Battles Season 11 will follow Regulation Set E. Also, Pokémon are allowed to Terastallize during battle.
Eligible Pokémon
Eligible Pokémon for Ranked Battles Season 11 include Paldea Pokédex No. 001–398 and Kitakami Pokédex No. 001–200, as well as certain other Pokémon that can be obtained in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet or brought into these games via Pokémon HOME. Certain Pokémon may not be used. See the end of this article for a detailed list of other eligible Pokémon.
Season 11 Rewards
Before battle, you’ll be matched up with players of similar rank to ensure even competition. The higher the tier you finish in, the greater your in-game rewards after the season concludes. Season 11 rewards include the following:

How to Start a Ranked Battle
To start a Ranked Battle, follow these steps:
- Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
- Open the X menu.
- Select Poké Portal.
- Select Battle Stadium.
- Select Ranked Battles.
How to Receive In-Game Rewards
You will need to finish at least one match with a win or loss during Season 11 to be eligible for rewards at the end of the season. To receive your in-game rewards, follow these steps:
- After the season has ended, launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
- Open the X menu.
- Select Poké Portal.
- Select Battle Stadium.
- Select Ranked Battles.

Running until Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 23:59 UTC, Ranked Battles Season 11 will follow Regulation Set E. Also, Pokémon are allowed to Terastallize during battle.
Eligible Pokémon
Paldea Pokédex No. 001–398 and Kitakami Pokédex No. 001–200 as well as certain other Pokémon are eligible to participate. Certain Pokémon may not be used.
Other eligible Pokémon (tap to expand)
Only Pokémon obtained in the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet games—including those found in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask—or those transferred from Pokémon HOME are eligible.
Pokémon Levels
All Pokémon will automatically be set to Lv. 50 during battles.

Duplicate held items are not allowed.

Total Time: 20 minutes
Player Time: 7 minutes
Preview Time: 90 seconds
Turn Time: 45 seconds

What Are Ranked Battles?
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Ranked Battles allow you to test your Trainer skills in head-to-head battles with players around the world. Each Trainer’s skill in battle is tracked by their rank, which changes based on the Trainer’s battle results. Trainers are matched up with other players of similar rank to ensure even competition.
Any Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) and Nintendo Account required for online features. Membership auto-renews after initial term at the then-current price unless canceled. Battle data and results will be provided to Nintendo Co., Ltd., and The Pokémon Company (and its subsidiaries).
Players engaging in the following activities may receive penalties and be restricted from participating in future online events.
• Use of unauthorized methods to alter game save data, use of Pokémon that have data altered via altering code, or use of Pokémon created via altering code
• Significantly large number of disconnects during battle, from when your opponent has been decided to when the match results have been fully sent to the server (please ensure a stable connection environment when connecting to the internet)
• Troubling behavior that could affect other participants or make others feel unpleasant
• Actions that would obstruct battles and operations, such as hacking
• Registering with incorrect information or impersonating another player
• Other actions that operation hosts determine to be inappropriate
