For this edition of FanArt Friday, Pokémon Blog is happy to display the art of the amazing Paulina Quintana G., also known as Poliqui_Art. This talented artist was also a part of the incredible project of Ilustradoras Unidas titled Pokedex Ilustrada.
Art is what Paulina loves to do the most.
“I think it’s a form to express emotions and try to improve oneself. Often, I’ve even used it as a way to let go of the things I’m holding back. (I believe) something would be missing in my life if I weren’t an artist.”
“Pokémon was the first anime I saw, but I ended up focusing my interest more on the games,” Paulina shared. “My interest in them has never wavered because I want to play them all, although I still haven’t done that yet. Pokémon is the video game or entertainment franchise that I feel closest to, and I’m glad it’s on the rise worldwide.“
She loves being able to express her love for the franchise through her art because it’s her vehicle to express her emotions.
Our featured artist has multiple favorite Pokémon: “But if I had to choose one, and possibly the one I’m most fond of, that’s Vaporeon. And, in second place, Absol.”
