The Pokémon Company has now rescheduled the canceled Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Dragon King Battle Qualifier Online Competition to mid-January 2024

This is a follow-up report on the official internet tournament “Pokémon Ryuo Battle 2024 Challenger Tournament” (hereinafter referred to as the “Tournament”) , which was recently canceled due to an issue .

We have completed an investigation into the cause of the problem and are currently working on a solution.

We are considering holding the event again, and are making adjustments to hold it after mid-January 2024 .
We are also considering whether it is possible to implement the regulations without major changes to the originally planned content.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to everyone who was looking forward to this tournament.
If there is any progress, we will notify you of the situation in this notice.

Notice for Tuesday, November 28, 2023

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Pocket Monsters. The official internet tournament “Pokemon Dragon King Battle 2024 Challenger Tournament”

is accepting entries from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023 to 8:59 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as “ this tournament”). ). We apologize for notifying you all at once, as some customers have already contacted us. We have recently confirmed an issue that is causing unintended behavior during this tournament.

– Collaidon and Miraidon of the battle team registered at the time of entry are replaced with other Pokemon by certain operations.

We are currently investigating the cause of the problem and taking measures.

Entry period: November 20, 2023 (Monday) 9:00 to December 1, 2023 (Friday) 8:59
Event period: December 1, 2023 (Friday) 9:00 to December 4, 2023 (Monday) 8 :59

However, due to an issue, we have decided to cancel this tournament.

Due to the cancellation of this tournament, if you have already entered and your battle team was locked, your battle team will be unlocked.
Additionally, regarding the battle team where the issue occurred, it is only a display issue, and other issues such as Collidon and Miraidon disappearing or being replaced with other Pokemon will not occur as a result of this issue. We have confirmed this.

In addition to investigating the cause of the problem, we are also considering whether to hold the tournament again so that everyone can participate fairly.
We will update this notice from time to time to inform you about our response to defects and future policies.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to everyone who was planning to participate in the tournament.
