It’s time to battle some Pokémon you may have had trouble finding! Until Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 23:59 UTC, Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, and Ceruledge are appearing more frequently in 3- and 5-star Tera Raid Battles.

These normally version-exclusive Pokémon will have various Tera Types and can be encountered in both the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games during this event, so prepare wisely and have fun completing your Paldea Pokédex!

What Is a Tera Raid Battle?

In a Tera Raid Battle, you’ll work together with three other Trainers to defeat a powerful Tera Pokémon before time runs out. The kinds of Pokémon encountered during Tera Raid Battle events will vary. Pokémon encountered in Tera Raid Battles may have a rare Tera Type.

Information about Tera Raid Battle Events

• To participate in Tera Raid Battle events, please download the latest Poké Portal News by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, then Check Poké Portal News. You do not need a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership to receive the latest Poké Portal News.
• You’ll be able to find 3-star Tera Raid Battles after earning three Gym Badges along Victory Road, and you’ll be able to find 5-star Tera Raid Battles after completing Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet’s main story. However, players who haven’t completed these events may still participate in these Tera Raid Battles by joining other Trainers in multiplayer.
• A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) is required to participate in Tera Raid Battles with other Trainers online. Terms apply. Learn more at https://www.nintendo.com/switch-online.
• Tera Raid Battle events will occur only in the Paldea region.

Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, and Ceruledge Are Coming to Tera Raid Battles

Challenge version-exclusive Pokémon and work to complete the Paldea Pokédex in your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.

If your Paldea Pokédex has a few empty entries in it, you might want to take note of this upcoming Tera Raid Battle event. From Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 3:59 p.m. PST, some normally version-exclusive Pokémon will be appearing in 3- and 5-star Tera Raid Battles in both Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

During this time, look for Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, and Ceruledge at Tera Raid crystals throughout the Paldea region. These Pokémon will have various Tera Types, so make sure you’re prepared before challenging them.

For the opportunity to encounter these Pokémon in Tera Raid Battles, you’ll need to have downloaded the latest Poké Portal News. You can do this by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, then Check Poké Portal News. After that, whenever you see a sparkling pillar of light shining from a Tera Raid crystal, you can walk up to the crystal and interact with it to start a Tera Raid Battle with a Tera Pokémon.
