2024 Pokémon North America International Championships Preview Show

The 2024 Pokémon North America International Championships (NAIC) kick off on June 7, 2024, in New Orleans, Louisiana, where prospective Trainers will continue their battle to qualify for the 2024 Pokémon World Championships in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. 2024 Pokémon North America International Championships

The Pokémon North America International Championships (NAIC) are the third and final International Championships event of the 2024 Championship Series season. This event is the final opportunity for competitors to earn Championship Points toward their World Championships invitation, and it features exciting competitions for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games (VGC), Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE.

This season’s NAIC event will take place at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, from June 7 to June 9, 2024. It will award high amounts of Championship Points and more than $500,000 USD in prizes, spread across the Pokémon TCG, Pokémon VGC, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE competitions.

Some tournaments begin on Friday, June 7, and others on Saturday, June 8. Please visit each competition’s page for a complete schedule.

Registration

All attendees, both spectators and competitors, will need to log in to the event registration portal with their Google account. First-time registrants will be prompted to create a profile, and prior registrants will be able to edit their profile information.

Users can choose to create or edit their account in advance of the opening of registration. When registration opens on April 25, attendees will need to log in, register, and pay to secure a pass. Online registration is required to participate and only a limited number of passes are available.

Registration will be divided into two waves at the following times:

  • Wave 1: April 25, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT / 7:00 p.m. CDT
  • Wave 2: April 26, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. PDT / 9:00 a.m. CDT

Notes:

  • Registration for this event is open to all competitors in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program. Competitors must have an active Play! Pokémon account with current and accurate information.
  • After registering on the event registration portal, competitors will need to finalize their tournament registration on RK9.gg. Team and deck lists will need to be submitted on RK9.gg at the appropriate time.
  • Competitor registration will close on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 9:59 p.m. PDT (11:59 p.m. CDT) or when passes sell out.
  • Competitors with Travel Awards and Travel Stipends will receive separate information about early registration.

Check-in and Badge Pickup

Badges for this event can be picked up on-site at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in the Hall H-J Lobby (enter via Hall I-1) or at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) at the Info Desk on Level 1, between doors 3 and 4. All attendees are highly encouraged to pick up their badges on Wednesday, June 5, or Thursday, June 6.

2024 Pokémon North America International Championships Pokémon Center Information

Pokémon Center is returning to the 2024 Pokémon North America International Championships! The store will feature International Championships-exclusive products as well as a curated selection of products from the Pokémon Center website. Keep an eye on Pokémon social media for a sneak peek over the next few weeks!

Store Hours:

  • Thursday, June 6: 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday, June 7, and Saturday, June 8: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 9: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Entry to the store is at Hall G.

How to Attend

The store will be open for the general public to attend. You will not need a competitor or spectator badge to enter. Entry to the store requires a reservation, even for badged attendees. Additional details on how to make a reservation for Pokémon Center will be announced closer to the event. More information can be found on the Pokémon Center NAIC page.

Pokémon Center does not accept cash. You can pay by cash card (debit card) or most credit cards. The currency listed on goods in the store is US dollars ($). To make products available to as many customers as possible, the number of some products that can be purchased may be limited. Pokémon Center holds the right to change the limits and products with limits at its discretion. All sales are final. Limited exchanges for defective goods will be offered during the show period. No refunds or returns will be offered.
