For this edition of FanArt Friday, Pokémon Blog is honored to display the beautiful art of Teri Doki. This talented artist participated in the second and fourth generations of Pokédex Ilustrada, a project organized by our incredible friends from lustradoras Unidas.
Teri considers art as a way to relax and improve herself.
“When I saw other artists and their work, I always dreamed of being able to draw like that, and I wanted to try to start drawing because of that. Although, I still have a lot to learn,” she expressed. “Art is also a relaxing activity for me. I particularly enjoy coloring my drawings.”
“I like Pokémon a lot,” Teri revealed. “When I was a child, I watched the Pokémon anime with my sisters. My partner also likes it. And thanks to him, I’ve been motivated to play some Pokémon video games. I’ve even watched the Sun and Moon (Alola) and Journeys anime. I also like several Pokémon designs, and they helped me to practice. That’s why I tried to draw some Pokémon characters in my first drawings.”
She also shared that drawing Pokémon makes her happy and motivates her to keep improving her drawings.
Teri’s favorite Pokémon is Oshawott.
“I have a special affection for him. He was the first starter I had in the first Pokémon game I ever played,” she concluded.
