Serperior is appearing in black crystal Tera Raid Battles! You can try catching Serperior from Friday, September 20, 2024, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 23:59 UTC, then again from Friday, September 27, 2024, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 23:59 UTC.
The Serperior appearing during this event has Grass as its Tera Type. Be prepared—this Pokémon is a formidable foe, and it’s got the Mightiest Mark to prove it! Work together with your friends to topple this powerful Tera Pokémon!
This special Serperior can be caught only once per save data. If you caught this Serperior previously during a Tera Raid Battle event, you cannot catch it again. You can still participate in Tera Raid Battles against this Serperior to obtain other rewards if you’ve already caught it.
This Serperior may be featured in future events or become obtainable through other methods.

What Is a Tera Raid Battle?
In a Tera Raid Battle, you’ll work together with three other Trainers to defeat a powerful Tera Pokémon before time runs out. The kinds of Pokémon encountered during Tera Raid Battle events will vary. Pokémon encountered in Tera Raid Battles may have a rare Tera Type.

Information about Tera Raid Battle Events
• To participate in Tera Raid Battle events, please download the latest Poké Portal News by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, then Check Poké Portal News. You do not need a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership to receive the latest Poké Portal News.
• After completing certain postgame events, you’ll be able to find black Tera Raid crystals. However, players who haven’t completed these events may still participate in these Tera Raid Battles by joining other Trainers in multiplayer.
• A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) is required to participate in Tera Raid Battles with other Trainers online. Terms apply. Learn more at https://www.nintendo.com/switch-online.
• Tera Raid Battle events will occur only in the Paldea region.
Serperior with the Mightiest Mark Is Coming to 7-Star Tera Raid Battles
Encounter Grass–Tera Type Serperior at black Tera Raid crystals, and you’ll also find Blissey in 5-star Tera Raid Battles.
You’ll be able to befriend the Lord of the Forest when Serperior arrives in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet 7-star Tera Raid Battles. The Regal Pokémon will appear at black Tera Raid crystals from Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, then again from Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT.
Serperior cannot normally be encountered in Paldea—although you can use Blueberry Points to encounter Snivy in Blueberry Academy’s Terarium—and the Serperior appearing during this event has Grass as its Tera Type. Be prepared—this Pokémon is a formidable foe, and it’s got the Mightiest Mark to prove it! Work together with your friends to topple this powerful Tera Pokémon!
During the latter half of this event—from Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT—Blissey will be appearing more frequently in 5-star Tera Raid Battles. These Blissey will have various Tera Types, so prepare wisely before challenging them! Defeating Blissey will yield some delightful rewards, such as various Tera Shards and bonus Exp. Candies.
Whenever you see a sparkling pillar of light shining from a Tera Raid crystal, you can walk up to the crystal and interact with it to start a Tera Raid Battle with a Tera Pokémon. To find the Tera Pokémon featured in this event, you’ll also need to have downloaded the latest Poké Portal News. To do so, follow these steps:
- Select Poké Portal in the X menu.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- Select Check Poké Portal News.
To challenge Grass–Tera Type Serperior with the Mightiest Mark, Trainers will need to either complete the postgame events that follow the main story or join a 7-star Tera Raid Battle hosted by a Trainer who has completed those events. This special Serperior can be caught only once per save data. You can still participate in Tera Raid Battles against this Serperior if you’ve already caught it to obtain other rewards—including significant amounts of Exp. Candy for leveling up your Pokémon, treasures that can be sold at Pokémon Centers, items for improving your Pokémon’s stats, and Grass Tera Shards for changing your Pokémon’s Tera Type.
