For this edition of FanArt Friday, Pokémon Blog is honored to display the beautiful artwork of the incredible Josep_Littledemon (JoJo Rendic). He has participated in multiple Pokémon-related projects, including the fifth and sixth generations of Pokédex Ilustrada, organized by the dream team from Ilustradoras Unidas.
Art means everything to JoJo: “It gives me life, keeps me active, and has allowed me to meet many wonderful people. I struggle every day to make it profitable (but it’s worth it).”
The Pokémon franchise is truly special for our featured artist—he owes a lot to it.
“Thanks to Pokémon, I was able to overcome the harsh times in my life. I work because of Pokémon. I’ve made friends and met my partner thanks to Pokémon, and I even learned to draw because of Pokémon,” he shared with the Pokémon Blog team.
For JoJo, drawing Pokémon is an amazing feeling. As mentioned above, he learned to draw thanks to Pokémon.
“I used to copy the art from the cards when I was a kid. My dream was to create something as cool as those illustrations.“
Picking a favorite Pokémon is a hard task for him because he likes so many, but there are two that hold a special place in his heart: Zoroark and Cramorant.

“When I watched ‘Pokémon—Zoroark: Master of Illusions,’ I fell in love with this Pokémon. He was so cool, and thanks to his illusion ability, he can transform into any Pokémon. Also, they gave him a beautiful regional form in Hisui with a very sad backstory,” he explained. “Since they announced Cramorant, I’ve been in love with him too. His little face staring into nothing resonates with me. Also, the animal he’s based on is my favorite bird. I always use Zoroark and Cramorant in competitive battles.“
