Nintendo has confirmed that Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen perform largely the same on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, with no major gameplay differences between the systems. The Switch 2 versions, however, support the GameChat feature, allowing players to communicate more easily during online interactions. Aside from this added functionality, the experience remains consistent across both consoles, keeping the focus on the classic Kanto adventure while taking advantage of the newer hardware’s communication options.
