The event marks the debut of Mega Mewtwo X in Pokémon GO while also featuring the return of Mewtwo, giving trainers multiple opportunities to encounter one of the franchise’s most iconic Pokémon. Team GO Rocket sightings are also playing a role in the event experience, adding extra challenges and story elements throughout the weekend. With exclusive spawns, raids and event activities taking place across Tokyo, the first GO Fest of 2026 is already shaping up to be one of the biggest Pokémon GO events of the year.
