The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International have officially unveiled 12 new LEGO Pokémon SMART Play sets, bringing interactive, screen-free play to some of the franchise’s most popular characters. The lineup includes Pokémon such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gengar, Eevee, Mew, Pikachu, Charizard and more, all powered by LEGO’s SMART Play technology that uses lights, sounds and motion sensors to respond to how kids play. Two all-in-one starter sets anchor the collection, while 10 additional expansion sets add new Pokémon and adventures. The new sets are available for preorder now and will launch Aug. 1, giving fans a new way to build, train, nurture and battle their favorite Pokémon.
