Pokémon GO Summer Marathon: Arctic Embers will run from Aug. 4 at 10 a.m. to Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. local time, featuring the Pokémon GO debut of Shiny Snom. Throughout the event, Ponyta, Slugma, Snover and Vanillite will appear more frequently in the wild with increased chances to encounter their Shiny variants, while Snom will also be available through event encounters. Trainers can also look forward to themed event bonuses, Timed Research, Collection Challenges, Field Research tasks and additional event-themed encounters and rewards during the limited-time celebration.
