Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Pitch Black now available worldwide featuring Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zeraora ex and more

The Pokémon Company International has officially launched the Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Pitch Black expansion at participating retailers worldwide. The new expansion introduces Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex, with the powerful Mega Evolution Pokémon ex featuring high HP and devastating attacks in exchange for giving up three Prize cards when Knocked Out. Trainers can now collect cards from the expansion through booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and a variety of themed products available at participating retailers.

To celebrate the launch, select retailers are offering a free promotional card with qualifying Pokémon TCG purchases of $15 or more while supplies last, including Zarude at GameStop, Armarouge at Best Buy and Primarina at Hot Topic, BoxLunch and Barnes & Noble, each featuring a special “What’s Your Favorite?” stamp. Mega Evolution—Pitch Black is also now available in Pokémon TCG Live, where players can claim a themed deck accessory set and a Mega Darkrai ex Battle Pass deck upon logging in, with a Mega Chandelure ex Battle Pass deck available to unlock through gameplay.
