Raichu Super Mega Raid Day is now underway in Pokémon GO, giving Trainers their first chance to battle Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y in Super Mega Raids from 2 to 5 p.m. local time today, July 18. The event features increased Shiny Raichu odds, Raichu caught from Super Mega Raids with Mega Level 1 already unlocked, free Timed Research rewarding a Premium Battle Pass and a Steelix encounter, up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, and a temporary increase to the Remote Raid Pass limit. Trainers can also purchase the optional event ticket for additional Raid Passes, Rare Candy XL bonuses, extra XP and Stardust rewards, while the Pokémon GO Web Store is offering an Ultra Ticket Box that includes the event ticket and a bonus Premium Battle Pass.
