Pokémon GO is turning up the voltage with Raichu Super Mega Raid Day on July 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. local time. The limited-time event marks the Pokémon GO debut of Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y in Super Mega Raids, giving Trainers their first chance to battle and catch the new Mega Evolutions. Players will also have an increased chance to encounter Shiny Raichu, while event-themed Timed Research will award a Premium Battle Pass and a Pokémon encounter. Additional bonuses include up to six free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, a temporary increase to the Remote Raid Pass limit and special paid-ticket rewards for dedicated raiders.
