Pokémon GO players will receive the free GO Pass: August beginning Aug. 4 at 10 a.m. local time, with progression available through Sept. 8 and rewards claimable until Sept. 10, while the paid GO Pass Deluxe returns for $7.99 alongside a $9.99 bundle that starts players at Rank 11. The season’s featured rewards include an encounter with Latias, which may appear as Shiny, along with Stardust, XP, Max Particles and other bonuses, while GO Pass Deluxe subscribers can earn additional Pokémon encounters and the returning Lucky Trinket as the final reward. The one-time-use item lets players instantly become Lucky Friends with an eligible Great Friend or higher, guaranteeing both Pokémon become Lucky Pokémon in their next trade before the status resets, though the Lucky Trinket expires Sept. 13.
Players can also unlock milestone bonuses by advancing through the pass, including extra Candy from trades, expanded Gift limits, longer Daily Adventure Incense duration and increased Egg Hatch XP and Stardust, while Deluxe users gain additional perks such as a daily single-use Incubator and enhanced Gift bonuses. Niantic will also remove the daily GO Points earning limit from Sept. 5-6, and players who purchase GO Pass Deluxe through the Pokémon GO Web Store will receive bonus items including Ultra Balls, Max Revives, Max Potions and a Premium Battle Pass, with an exclusive Ultra Box offering additional rewards.
