Pokémon GO‘s Ultra Unlock: 10th Anniversary Edition event is now live and runs from July 21 through July 27, 2026, bringing a week of rotating bonuses highlighted by catch XP increasing from 6× to 8× before reaching 10× during the final stretch of the celebration. Starter Pokémon from every main series generation will rotate through wild encounters across three phases, while Beldum, Gible and Dreepy can be attracted with Lure Modules. Party hat versions of Grimer, Raticate, Nidorino, Gengar and Wobbuffet are featured in raids, and players can evolve eligible starter Pokémon during the event to obtain exclusive Community Day Charged Attacks including Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn and Hydro Cannon.
The event also introduces Professor Willow’s assistant Pikachu through Willow’s Birthday Research, Field Research, Timed Research, snapshot encounters and raids, while a $4.99 Masterwork Research: Glimmers of Gratitude ticket is available for eligible players. In addition, the limited-time GO Pass: 10th Anniversary returns with rewards such as a 10th Anniversary Tee (Yellow), a Golden Lure Module and themed Pokémon encounters, while the $4.99 GO Pass Deluxe and $6.99 GO Pass Deluxe + 6 Ranks offer upgraded rewards, with the daily GO Points earning cap removed from July 25 through July 27.
