The Pokémon Company has released a new 30-second trailer for Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 1, offering another look at Bubbly Basin before the paid DLC launches on the morning of Aug. 5. The expansion introduces a new underwater town where players can expand their community alongside Popplio, build beneath the sea and discover new ways for Pokémon to live and help develop the area. Launching alongside the DLC is the free Version 2.0.0 update, which adds the Dive move and allows Ditto to explore underwater for the first time. The trailer also teases Expansion Pass Part 2, scheduled for winter 2026, which will introduce wearable accessories that let players and their Pokémon customize their appearance together.
