Pokémon Masters EX reveals Juliana & Chimecho, Carmine & Mightyena, Florian & Yanmega, Pasio Festival of Masks, Johto Gym Battle, Selene & Primarina, and August 2026 updates

DeNA has published A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 92), revealing a packed lineup of content arriving throughout late July and August 2026. The biggest addition is the new Academy Event: Pasio Festival of Masks, launching July 30, which stars Juliana & Chimecho as the featured Academy Sync Pair alongside new EX Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs Carmine (Alt.) & Mightyena and Florian (Alt.) & Yanmega. Carmine & Mightyena are a Dark-type Support Sync Pair capable of applying Paldea Circle (Physical) and Dark Zone, while Florian & Yanmega are a Bug-type Strike Sync Pair that automatically Sync Terastallizes into Bug type and focuses on powerful offensive attacks.

The update also previews the Pasio Gym Battle: Johto Gym Leaders Assembled, beginning August 2, where players will challenge Falkner, Bugsy, Whitney, Morty, Chuck, Jasmine, Pryce, and Clair, alongside a special Gym Battle Celebration scout. As part of the ongoing Pokémon 30-Year Celebration, players can recruit N (Summer 2022) & Zoroark, earn materials to upgrade them to 6★ EX and unlock their EX Role, and collect 1,000 Gems through the monthly log-in bonus. Additional August content includes Selene & Primarina joining the Mix Scout on July 31, Whitney becoming available in the Trainer Lodge, the Daily Battle: Roll Cake Challenge on August 6, and a new Legendary Gauntlet featuring Azelf, Regirock, and Moltres beginning August 9. The developers also confirmed that the next producer message will arrive in mid-August with the first details leading into Pokémon Masters EX’s seventh anniversary.
